OU/TX – 6 Years

I had meant to write this post on Thursday or Friday but time got away from me. All these pictures were on the external hard drive in our bedroom and I just never got to it. Unfortunately our team didn’t win this weekend but it doesn’t hurt to look back at the 6 years we’ve been together.

Anthony and I met down in Dallas, TX during the OU/TX football game in 2002. It was by chance that we were introduced by mutual friends. I had a broken foot, was in a boot, and made fun of it a lot. Thankfully Anthony (or should I say Andrew as I thought his name was) thought it was cute and funny as well.

This picture is us in the hotel room (room #2 since the first lost air conditioning) in 2002. I was already head over heels in love with him. 😛 (excuse the poor quality – its a scan!)

2003 – sophomore year at the actual game in the upper deck.

2004 – senior year

2005 – we flew back to go. Looking back at this picture – man we looked like crap! (and very pale!)

Looking at all these, somehow I’m always on his left – weird!

We don’t have pictures of 2006 through now because we didn’t go or celebrate much but imagine us in our Sooner gear in Nashville and Princeton.

Thanks for looking back with me!

what a sweet tradition…you need to take one this week for 2008!

baby boy | plainsboro maternity photographer

Several weeks ago I went to the spouse’s brunch during PTS orientation. I overheard Misty talking about being from Oklahoma.  My ears perked up immediately and when I had a moment I mentioned how I was from Oklahoma as well.  At the end of the brunch, Misty and I discussed a maternity session since her and Brian are expecting their first baby at the end of this month.

Thank you both for venturing to Plainsboro with me! I can’t wait to meet baby boy W.

Family Mini Session – Nashville, TN

Katie and her family were more than gracious to let me stay with them while I was in Nashville. Thankfully I had a little time and we did a little holiday family mini session last night (look at the difference a few months make –one year birthday). The mosquitoes almost ate us alive, but everyone were troopers and survived! Katie & Joey – thank you very much for opening your home to me. I love seeing you both and the girls.

I love the look on Anna’s face in this one.  You’ve got to wonder what she is thinking.

Broderick 9 Months – Nashville, TN

This little one is making her 3rd appearance on the blog today. You may have seen her at 3 months and at 6 months. We celebrated 9 months today at Centennial Park. It was a nice morning and she was very cooperative until we got near dirt!

This is my favorite image from the entire session. She is totally in love with her daddy and it really shows in this one.

Jersey Shore

Wednesday I went to the Jersey shore with a friend I met here, Amy. She just moved to Lawrenceville with her husband from California. He is teaching high schoolers at a boarding school. It was a nice break and who doesn’t love sitting on the beach enjoying the sound of crashing waves, crazy birds flying overhead, and a beautiful breeze? I only took these two pictures because I really was enjoying myself. The first one makes me chuckle – I mean who has the time to go for hours on the shore to treasure hunt? He had all the equipment you’d need – its an investment for sure.

Where were you, Kim? Point Pleasant? Bay Head? I am Shelly Bissinger’s aunt. The pics of the girls are beautiful. I am from NJ, and grew up spending summers in Point Pleasant/Bay Head. The Jersey shore is like no other! However, I have come to love the SC beaches. The marshes and sand dunes are wonderfully photographic. Ask Shelly to show you some pictures. We were in North Litchfield together this summer.
