workshoppin’ with pinkletoes

Last month, I spent several days with one of my favorite photographers, PinkleToes out of Austin, learning everything she was willing to teach us at her workshop in Ridgewood. It was one of the best experiences and I’ve already started implementing many ideas that were tossed about during our time together. I’ve included both behind the scene photos from the family shoot as well as our last morning with a maternity couple trying out different techniques. I was aimed with using a lens I’ve never used before and that happened to be a lensbaby. It creates such a cool effect but it’s tricky as you have to manual focus it! Gives me even more mad props to photographers that began a career with no auto focus.

See some behind-the-scenes from Michele’s including yours truly snapping away the couple at the very end. Thanks again Michele for being your awesome self!

Then, you must check out Sarah’s post of Sarah Jordan Photography – Boston Family Photographer, for her take and work through our blog circle!
