Doug and Danielle lived in the same dorm tower in college. Danielle, not being 18 yet, could not attend a party that their friends were attending. Doug sweetly stayed behind and the two of them hung out. From that moment, Danielle was smitten! The two of them have been all over this country, starting out in Oklahoma, moving to California and now live in Maryland. Arriving three weeks early, Samuel Kendan came into this world on his father’s birthday weighing 7lbs. Eleven days later, the jaundice is almost gone and he is perfect! Doug and Danielle have an incredible relationship and are loving parents. Samuel is a very content, chill baby. He allowed us to move and bend him in ways he never thought he would be in. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Kim, what great pictures of our grandson, Samuel Kendan! We are so proud of our daughter-in-law Danielle, she will be such a good Mom to young Sam. I agree, our son Douglas and Danielle do have an incredible relationship and they will make great parents. It was surreal to think that 28 years ago on the day Samuel was born I was in labor with Sam’s father, Douglas.
Your photography is outstanding, you captured the beauty of young innocence in a very captivating way. Thanks for taking these great pics and also the ones of Douglas and Danielle in the the “baby bumps” category. I look forward to hearing about your great works on a National level, good luck!

Lovely! This little boy looks a lot like Douglas did. The forehead and eyes and chin, not to mention the adorable feet! How can he not be extraordinary with the parents he has? Being a grandmother myself I know that we are in for a lot of Sam stories as he grows and does all those remarkable brilliant things grandchildren do.

Thanks for the great pictures. You are a gifted photographer–and a pretty darn good friend to travel to D.C. in the cold!
