field of wild flowers | princeton photographer

It’s been wild around these parts with construction going on left and right (a post about that will come shortly!). The guys from I&R Construction crew bought grass seed with wildflowers in it to replace some of the ground they’ve pulled up and it was absolutely beautiful out there. Last week I came home from Zumba, a hot, sweaty mess, scarfed down a quick salad, grabbed my camera to get these. I was losing light fast (it was already 7:20), thankfully my camera handles the high ISO and I went to town with my macro. When I came back, Anthony was confused as to why I was gone for so long, but sometimes nature really does call. As of yesterday (which really means it probably happened Friday), the seminary did some mowing/weed whacking and it’s all gone!!

The beauty is fascinating and mesmerizing. Enjoy!

I played around a bit with split toning on this one and I’m a little obsessed with it!

That looks like a gorgeous spot to play with a macro!! I am jealous! And sad that they cut it all down!

Beautiful! I heard about these flowers, but I guess I missed them. 🙁 Glad you took pictures!

I can’t believe the seminary grounds crew did that! They also tore apart (aka weed whacked) some of the beautiful plants in front of Jen + Phil’s apartment.
